Architects Silvia Metens and Pieter Peerlings built a four-story home/office building with a transparent front wall. The width of the space is less than eight feet wide and there’s a bathtub on the roof. I wonder what the neighbors think.(via Ripley’s)

Steven Sauer, engineer for Boeing, managed to fit two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room, as well as closets and space for his bicycle, in a 182-square-foot apartment. Go Steven.

Architect Gary Chang created an innovative sliding wall system to make 24 different room options in his 344-square-foot Hong Kong apartment and named it “Domestic Transformer.” The coolest apartment ever.
6. Neatest House Made of Rock
This stunning and mysterious home is made of limestone rocks and is in Fafe, Northern Portugal. Made by an unknown artist, this stone home has become a local icon over the years. This place rocks (haha)! (via Ripley’s)
7. Craziest Place to Call Home
Hundreds of people have built homes in the damp storm drains that run under Las Vegas. Despite the risks to their health from diseases and a general risk of flooding, the “tunnel people” have set up elaborate camps with beds, bookshelves, wardrobes, and even a makeshift shower created from an office water drinking dispenser.
