Crazy Kokomo Ailand is a self-propelled floating island for the 1%
Luxury yachts have nothing on this floating private island designed by Migaloo. Featuring a penthouse, jungle deck with a waterfall and even a shark-feeding station, Kokomo Ailand is the first floating structure of its kind to move under its own power. According to the designers, the island can be customized to fit the client’s needs. And here’s the craziest part of this story: the developers told CNN clients around the world have expressed interest in having one of their own.
Kokomo Ailand has all the amenities of a land-based luxury resort, including a spa, gym, beauty salons,swimming pool and garden areas. The penthouse deck is located 80 meters above the water and incorporates two elevators and a glass-bottomed hot tub. Quick transfers are possible thanks to the helipad.

The design, showcased recently at the Monaco Yacht Show, is based on Migaloo’s proventechnology and offers 360-degree views from the penthouse. It could also function as a company headquarters, casino or a lair for the ultimate Bond villain. In either case, the island would allow its owners to pretty much go anywhere they like.
