NSDCAR May 2015 HomeDex Reports provide April 2015 housing statistics in two separate reports, featuring North San Diego County and full San Diego County statistics. Below is a snapshot of the April housing statistics. Click on the links below to read the full reports.
North County Summary
- The median price for all North County home sales attached and detached decreased to $525,000 in April 2015, compared to $516,000 in March 2015.
- Median price for detached homes in North County declined 2.83 percent to $600,000 in April 2015 compared to $617,500 reported in March 2015.
- Year-over median SFD price in North San Diego County increased 5.08 percent compared to $571,000 reported in April 2014.
- The number of sold units in North San Diego County for April 2015 was 996 units, a jump of 16.9 percent compared to March 2015.
- Median days on market for North San Diego County SFD homes sold fell to 19 days in April, compared to 22 days in March 2015.
- The HomeDex affordability percentage for all homes in North San Diego County remained at 33 percent in April.

Full County Summary
- The median price for a single-family detached (SFD) home in San Diego County remained at $520,000 in April 2015.
- Year-over median SFD home price in San Diego County increased 6.34 percent compared to $489,000 reported in April 2014.
- The number of sold SFD units throughout San Diego County in April 2015 was 2,209, a jump of 17.75 percent compared to March 2015.
- Median days on market for SFD homes in April for San Diego Metro was 12 days, 15 days for South County, and 19 days for East County.
- The HomeDex affordability percentage in April 2015 for a SFD home in San Diego Metro was 31 percent, South County was at 41 percent, and East County was at 42 percent.
